Water Tracker is a hydration-logging Android app: you record glasses of water, set a daily goal, get reminders, and build a streak. It has no account system and no login — this policy explains the little data handling that does happen, in plain terms.
1. What stays on your device
Your water intake entries, daily goal, quick-add amounts, reminder schedule, and theme preference are stored only on your device, in a local database and local settings storage. They are never uploaded to a server — there is no account and no cloud sync.
2. Notifications
Reminder notifications are scheduled entirely on-device using Android’s own notification and alarm system. No reminder data leaves your phone.
3. Advertising
Free-tier use of the app shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device and usage data — such as an advertising identifier — to serve and measure ads, governed by Google’s own privacy policy. Premium subscribers do not see ads.
4. Purchases
Subscription and one-time Premium purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. This app never sees or stores your payment details — Google handles the transaction and shares back only a purchase confirmation, used on-device to unlock Premium features.
5. Uninstalling
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data — your history, goal, and settings — since nothing is backed up elsewhere.
